Keith has played music for a number of years. He started out playing the drums, but soon expanded his musical interests and took on the piano. He received a BM in Jazz Studies from RooseveltUniversity in Chicago and went on to attain a MM in Music Therapy from WesternMichiganUniversity.
Keith has been teaching students young to adult for close to 25 years now. He is able to adapt his teaching to any student to make sure they are getting everything they can out of their lessons. His styles of instruction include Rock, Blues, Funk, R&B and Contemporary.
With his Music Therapy Board Certification he has been able to apply his skill set to young adults with emotional/behavioral disorders (Autism, Tourette Syndrome, Learning Disabilities and Developmental Delay) as well as substance abuse disorders. His skills also pertain to seniors with early through late onset Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Keith has made great connections with all of his students and their parents. His ability to adapt his teaching style to each student’s specific way of learning makes them excited for every lesson.
